WHAT IS PAQHA?
The Pennsylvania Amateur Quarter Horse Association is comprised of American Quarter Horse Owners who are also amateurs exhibitors. The purpose of PAQHA is to foster relations between Pennsylvania Quarter Horse owners who enjoy competing with their American Quarter Horse at AQHA approved shows, and in open show competition.

WHAT DOES PAQHA HAVE TO OFFER?
PAQHA offers many programs that promote camaraderie and healthy competition between members. PAQHA also sponsors an Annual Used Clothing & Tack Sale, and State Superiors & Performance Championships.

WHO CAN JOIN PAQHA?:
Any person owning a registered American Quarter Horse, and having an Amateur membership to AQHA is eligible for membership. Annual Dues: $10.00
(In order to have voting rights, membership in at least one of the PA Quarter Horse Associations is required.)

CHANGES WITH THE PAQHA IN 2010

State Superior
Have changed from 50 points to 100 points per class/division
(If you already received a superior at the 50 points you will not receive another at the 100 points level, same horse/rider combination)

Performance Champion
Has changed from 200 points to 400 points earned in 4 classes/divisions, 100 points earned in each class / division
(If you have already earned a Performance award at the 200 points you will not earn another at the 400 points, same horse/rider combination.)

NEW for 2010
Supreme Champion
You must earn 500 points per class/division
(Same horse/rider combination)

Riding Recognition Program Awards
State Superior
Must ride 500 hours.
Performance Champion
Must ride 1500 hours
Supreme Champion
Must ride 2500 hours
