Summer is here!!! My favorite time of year, the time to enjoy our American Quarter Horses.

The PQHYA Youth Show at Centre County Grange Fairgrounds, Centre Hall, PA is upon us and I hope you have your stalls reserved. We expect a great turnout and another great show with lots of activities planned. We will kick off the Show circuit with our Annual All Novice Show & Clinic on Wednesday, July 16th followed by the 4-Day Split/Combined Quarter Horse Show July 17-20th. We look forward to seeing you there and supporting our Youth association.

PQHA will host the AQHA Region Five Experience, July 24-27th at the Centre County Grange Fairgrounds. PQHA has made arrangements with the Centre County Fairgrounds for exhibitors who wish to stay over for this event following the PQHYA show.

PQHA needs lots of help and assistance to put these events together. Please offer to volunteer your time and talents. PQHA appreciates your assistance.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Leonard Truck & Trailer, your Open entries at PQHYA and PQHA Classic & Futurity Show will be placed into a drawing for a Blue Ribbon Deluxe 2-Horse Trailer to be awarded to a lucky PQHA member at our Annual Awards Banquet in December. Calling all Trail Ride enthusiasts... The Annual PQHA Gettysburg Trail Ride will be held on September 19-21, 2008. Make your reservations now and enjoy a great weekend of fun with friends. See details in this issue and/or the website.
