Fall is here, Students are back at school and college, and it appears that another year is winding down to enjoy our Quarter Horses in Pennsylvania. However, your association is already hard at work planning 2009 Clinics, Shows, Trail Rides, and events for PQHA members. Best wishes to those exhibitors heading to the All-American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus in October. It is a premiere event to horse enthusiasts in this region for shopping, educational and shows which showcase the American Quarter Horse. We also send best wishes to our 2008 PQHA Queen, Katelyn Reutzel who competes for the All-American Quarter Congress Queen title and Best Wishes to our PQHYA Team at the NYATT competition. THANK YOU to all exhibitors, vendors, volunteers, |

and members who have contributed to PQHA's sucessful Quarter Horse shows this year. We had two outstanding Circuits in July and September and a special thank you goes to Dave Geisel, our Show Manager and Brenda Campbell, our Stall Manager. Dave and Brenda had big responsibilities to keep things running smoothly over four days, and as the size of our shows continue to grow, Dave and Brenda were thankful for the support & understanding received from exhibitors and volunteers as well. PQHA was able to provide an exhibitor's Chicken dinner at the Classic as well as entertainment, which included several PQHA members at the Karaoke Microphone. We were in awe of the hidden talents that our members possess! Thank you, Jerry Yohn, for coordinating this event for our pleasure! Thank you, Carla Weaver, Chairman of the PQHA Futurity, it was great to see so many entries and payouts!! Another Thank You to all the PQHA members and volunteers who are too numerous to mention, it takes a lot of dedicated volunteers to put these events together. Congratulations to another successful PQHA Trail Ride at Gettysburg in September. Thank you, Sue Yohn, volunteers, and participants, a great time was enjoyed by all that attended. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Leonard Truck & Trailer, we will be awarding ONE lucky winner from all Open entries from the PQHYA July Show and the PQHA Classic & Futurity show, the use of a Blue Ribbon Deluxe 2-Horse Trailer for One Year at the Annual Awards Banquet on December 6, 2008.
